Not Evil, Just Wrong - The True Cost of Global Warming Hysteria!

A new documentary will be coming out soon if we can help get it into theatres. It's about the reality of the global warming scam that folks like Al Gore are spewing. This could be a great opportunity to put a kink into the alarmists environmental movements.

The tag line says that "this is the film that Al Gore and Hollywood doesn't want you to see." It is also the film that environmental groups will do anything to discredit. Please help this film get to the big screens and to our schools. We must stop this nonsense and fast and this film is a great start.

Back Home

Whoops! I've been on the road the last two weeks. I did mean to post and to finish my health care article. But boy was I busy. Sorry folks. Will post my health care article ASAP.

However, the last few weeks have been entertaining to say the least. Hope and Change? I suppose we can HOPE that the same characters in the Washington Democratic band wagon can come up with some sort of CHANGE. However, looks like Obama has realized that learning on the job may not be as easy has running an election. So, it looks like the Clinton back in the White House and they've brought along all their old cronies. What a joke!

Lowered Expectations

Obama has told us to lower our expectations. I'm a little hardpressed to do so since they aren't all that high at this point. So far, I've covered my concerns about the Democrats attacks on free speech and the war. I'm working on a couple of articles regarding healthcare and the expected socialized healthcare plans that the Dems will eventually offer. All appears to be doom and gloom. How could my expectations be any lower?

However, what is really funny is how bitter the winners have become. All those Obamites should be hooting and hollering about their incredible win and how they're now the new boss. Instead, they're still angry at anyone who disagrees with them. Seriously, I have a McCain sticker still on my car and I still get leers and angry comments from apparent Obama supporters. What gives Libs? You won. I didn't cry to the Supreme Court about fake voters or hanging chads. I don't even deny the fact that you won the popular election. Did you suddenly expect that once your guy won that all the rest of us would start drinking the Kool Aid? You're going to be disappointed.

Prediction 2 - Defeat from the Jaws of Victory

The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have gone on for quite a long time now. While no war is ever popular, the Left and their propaganda division commonly known as the news media have painted these wars as being bad all around. As such, I expect that in the coming months, the Democrats and Obama will clutch defeat from the jaws of victory by ordering a scheduled pull out of both Iraq and Afghanistan.

Some of you may cheer this decision. Many will claim that this is finally the end of Bush’s evil policies. And others will say that only Democrats could accomplish “Peace on Earth.” The dates will be scheduled and the troops will do as they’re told and begin the pullout. However, this is where the happy story stops being happy.

I predict that the terrorists, insurgents, enemies or whatever designation you think applies will use this as an opportunity. How you might ask? Simple. Attacks will focus on limiting what can be taken from these countries. Airports, seaports and roads will all be major targets along with supply and ammo depots. The goal will be to get the US to leave as much equipment and supplies behind. As the US death toll rises and stability in these countries rapidly decreases, the weak willed Democrats will decide to cut their losses and just pull out the troops and forget the equipment. Oh yes, weapons, supplies and expensive American equipment will fall into enemy hands. And lets not forget soldiers unable to make the last call that will be left behind to the tender mercies of our enemies. Think I’m wrong; remember Somalia during the Clinton era. Clinton, having never served anything larger then his own purposes, was unable to conceive why soldiers would risk death to rescue their wounded and dead comrades.

Once we are gone, Iraq and Afghanistan will completely destabilize and will potentially destabilize more of the region. Of course, the Liberals will blame Bush for this effect as well as the millions of civilians who will die in the grand purges to come. However, even this is only the beginning. Convinced that America has no backbone and that its leaders are impotent, terrorist groups will strike out again and again. And Obama’s response will be to talk…, and talk…, and talk. And in a decade or so, perhaps less, America will have to fight these people again; perhaps on our own soil.

Prediction Number 1 - Sedition Act

This isn't necessarily the first topic that I'd like to discuss, but it has been on my list since before the election. And it looks like this will be the first topic run on my blog. Why you might ask, well our "friends" in congress think that too many conservatives have too much freedom to speak their mind and have decided the best way to shut them up is to require "fairness." This is called the Fairness Doctrine (see the following links for more details: (http://www.heritage.org/research/regulation/em368.cfm; http://www.museum.tv/archives/etv/F/htmlF/fairnessdoct/fairnessdoct.htm;
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fairness_Doctrine)

The gist of this law is that if one point of view is expressed on the radio, equal time must be given to the opposing point of view. The reasoning behind this is to insure that "fairness" returns to the radio waves. And, based on the following links, it looks like this might come to pass before I can even write my predictions for it. See the following link: (http://www.eyeblast.tv/public/checker.aspx?v=e4qGkUIrkU)

My original prediction, which may seem a bit late now, is that the Dems, who seem incapable of taking any criticism; will launch a new series of Sedition style acts masked in the cloak of freedom and equality. These laws will be focused on limiting the criticism of the current government leaders and government policies. This has been done before in 1798 and 1918. The aim of these efforts will be to contain the negative outcomes of their policies by attempting to control the flow of information. Many a dictator has used similar methods to wrestle and harness the government away from its own people.

Consider that any criticism of any liberal idea is met with fierce, vocal and often violent resistance. Also consider that the liberal media, which dumped millions of dollars into the Obama campaign, rarely, if ever presents even or unbiased views of conservative America. How often have you seen conservative America painted as "clinging to their guns and religion?" And consider, when it comes to violent protests, who is that you often see in the streets leading "peaceful" protests that always seem to end up in riots and looting?

The Freedom Doctrine is only a first step, keep your eyes open for more. I know I will.

Democrats Win - America Loses?

Yes, the elections are over and the Dems have come out on top. Don't kid yourself, Barack Obama isn't the biggest problem we have. Sure he's not qualified to run a hot dog stand, lies, waffles and is a political wind sock; that's in the definition for any politician. Bush was certainly no exception. By itself, Obama is as benign as any community activist. However, he's not alone. The Senate and the House are now controlled by the democrats. No, not a super majority, but enough to get a lot of crazy policies passed.

This is the real concern - no checks and balances. This means that Pelosi, Clinton, Gore, and even Obama can fix America's greatest problems; success and opportunity. I may be wrong and I truly hope that I am. In the coming days, I will post my predictions for what I expect to happen under the new regime.

Keep watching - I know I will be.
